Control your Roku from your PC

If you want to control your Roku from your PC, I found this web app that will do that.

Remoku Is where you need to go, unless you want to add it to chrome browser

Handy little app.

Blog on the go

Here I am trying out the Blogger app
. Seems to work.

Roku update

According to the official Roku blog Roku 2, Roku LT and new Roku HD players are getting an update. I have a HD (I think) and couldn't get it to force update when I seen the news. I guess I will try again later.

Prevail stuff like prl...maybe boost stuff instead

I have been working on my prevail cause it is mine and I can fuck it up if I want. I have tried to get better signal by changing the prl through cdma workshop. I hear tell that Sprint sold several towers around my area (zip- 30528). I found this app for open signal maps and it show a couple towers nearby, but not the numbers...Where to find good info on local PRLs?

I was also dabbling in the whole flash/change carrier thingy, but apparently THEY don't want you to use a prevail for that...

Prevail

Since I hate cell phones, I recently got my first android (cause I love Google). I found a Samsung Prevail on ebay for $48. So I had to have a case and stuff so here is that stuff, too.

So, for like $60 it is covered, protected and touched. Nice

And, of course, it was rooted in, like, less than four hours. And that includes the time I took to decide to wait until I activated it and completely ignored myself. CTMod seemed like a great rom, but it kept throwing up errors. Now with cm7 (beta I think)...smooth as cannabutter. Just kidding, butter is bad for you.
This post is simply for reference purposes

Interstella 55555

I remember the first time I heard Daft Punk. Around the world came up on MTV2 and I was on the phone with a friend. He was watching it as well. This was before cell phones. Not before they existed, mind you...They just cost a shitload to use. We watched the people dancing around to the beat, almost hypnotized as in 'can't look away'. Since I wasn't into techno I guess they just passed me by.

A few years ago I introduced them to myself via Aphex Twin. I got on a new music kick and I like to feel it so Aphex Twin jumped out at me. Then one day YouTube shuffled around the world in my playlist and I remembered...

Immediately I devoured their entire collection (which isn't officially that much) and found this movie. Then they released Tron Legacy. It was almost cosmically timed. I just found and fell into the top of the line music creators and they let loose their first film score.... Beautiful.

The story is very familiar and the animation is straight out of classic childhood. All of the movies that I couldn't remember the names seem present here. There is no dialog which turns out to be a great way of keeping the characters from overrunning their place. The music is sublime and the story is classic. Any child can watch and enjoy and every parent can rest easy allowing their child to view this wonderful film...

Catching up...

Been awhile...so here I am. I have been slaving away in a hot dish-pit and it has been sucking my life-force. In the between times, I have been rooting phones. I have done a Evo 4G, Captivate, Prevail and something else(but I can't remember what it was). It sure is nice how they all have a different process --- note sarcasm. So it goes without saying I have gotten familiar with both Odin3 and Cdma Workshop...
